Pearl Lee Cole

Pearl Lee Cole, 89, died May 13, 2011. She was born in Estill County, Ky., and lived in Sebastian since 1982, coming from Fairfield, Ohio. Before becoming a homemaker, she worked as a government employee at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base during and after World War II. She was a volunteer for the Congregate Meals at the Sebastian Community Center. She graduated from Stewart High School, Oxford, Ohio. Survivors include her son, Thomas L. Cole of Fort Pierce; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2008, Orville; and brothers, Henry Stevens, Leon Stevens and Edward Stevens. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice House, 901 37th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960. Services: Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. May 20 at Seawinds Chapel in Sebastian with a service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Sebastian Cemetery.
