Philmore Fox Obituary

Philmore Clark "P.C." Fox, 95, died May 12, 2011, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. He was born in Greenwood, Va., and lived in Vero Beach since 2005, coming from Auburndale, where he and his family had lived since 1953. Before retiring, he worked for Continental Can Co. and the city of Auburndale. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Quartermaster Corps. He was a member of the St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Auburndale. Survivors include his daughters, Pattie Smith of Crawfordville and Helen Tasker of Vero Beach; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Fox; and special friend, Lillian Dull. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960; 772-567-5551; www.vnatc.com. Services: Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. May 14 at Kersey Funeral Home in Auburndale. with a service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Auburndale Memorial Park.
