RAFAEL A. GALI Rafael A. Gali, 81, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013. Rafael is survived by his wife, Aida; daughter, Lilia and her husband Emilio, and her children, Karl, Adam, Erik, Lisa and Tayler; son, Ralph and his wife Maria and their children, Kailyn, Leanne and Brandon. Rafael was a member of the General Electric Hall of Fame as a service technician and retired, at General Electric for more than 30 years in the department of Appliance repair. Born in Havana, Cuba, Rafael worked in one of Havana's largest Chevrolet car dealerships in the accounting department. Rafael also was a musician and an esteemed classical guitar player in a duet with wife Aida. Almost 53 years ago to this day, he permanently moved to this country in 1960 fleeing the communist revolution. He lived in New York, California, Miami, and finally Port St. Lucie, Florida. His musical career flourished in this country, eventually performing on television shows. In addition to his music, he also taught air conditioning and refrigeration in San Jose, California. Rafael was a devoted family man, exceptional father and husband, as well as a loyal friend and companion to those around him. His interests included music, baseball, poetry and simply put, making people laugh. With warm wit and an engaging smile, he was known to shower praise, love and peace while reminding us that life always gets better. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to any charity supporting heart disease . The family will have a private function for his services. Paid Obituary
