RICHARD F. YARICK Mr. Richard F. Yarick, 81, died March 27, 2013 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. Mr. Yarick was born in Tampa, FL and lived in Vero Beach for 46 years coming from Clewiston, FL. He was a graduate of Plant High School, Tampa, FL, Class of 1950. He attended the University of Tampa, Tampa, FL. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Yarick served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for over 30 years before his retirement in 1987. Following his retirement Mr. Yarick worked for the Indian River County Road and Bridge Department. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the National Rifle Association. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Alice Yarick of Vero Beach; daughter, Katrina Stawara (Frank) of Orlando, FL; brothers, Philip Yarick and William Yarick (Sara) both of Live Oak, FL; grandsons, Frank John Stawara II of Vero Beach and Richard "Adam" Stawara of Orlando, FL; granddaughters, Anna Stawara and Mary Alice Stawara both of Orlando, FL; stepdaughter, Ann Sergent of Jupiter, FL; sister-in-law Emily Resteghini of Vero Beach; several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church Scholarship Fund, 1850 6th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32960 or Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of Mr. Yarick SERVICES: Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Monday, April 1, 2013 Strunk Funeral Home Vero Beach. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. April 1, 2013 at Strunk Funeral Home with Rev. A.C. "Jack" Diehl III officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3918, Vero Beach. Interment will be in Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.
