VELMA COPPAGE Velma Coppage, 81, went to be with her Lord on August 6, 2014 at. She was the beloved wife of Rev. Raymond Coppage for 59 years and loving mother of her children and grandchildren. She was born to Eston and Nina Milton on December 13, 1932 in Quitman, GA. Velma was a beloved pastor's wife and loved by all as she ministered and loved others. She was the church secretary at King's Baptist Church for 20 plus years. She was very involved in the women's mission groups at King's Baptist. Her great love was teaching preschoolers in Sunday school. She is survived by her children, Debbie (Richard) Gaffney and Ray (Carol) Coppage both of Vero Beach, FL, Jennie (Randy) Berry of Dahlonega, GA, and Ruth (Kevin) Ross of Auburn, AL; brother, Alton Milton of Quitman, GA., 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Rev. Raymond Coppage, brothers Glenn and Leroy Milton; grandson, Andrew "Andy" Ross and great grandson Dorian Gaffney. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach and funeral services on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Strunk Funeral Home.
