WILLIAM FRANK WARD III William Frank Ward III, 47, passed away on April 18, 2013 peacefully at his home in Eldon, IA. He was born on January 11, 1966 in Macomb, IL to William Frank and Lee Ann Dean Ward. Frank grew up in Fort Pierce, FL and graduated from John Carroll Catholic High School in 1984. After high school Frank attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and continued course work in juvenile justice. He began work with youth services in various roles throughout Florida and Iowa, and also worked for First Resources through Evan's Middle School in Ottumwa, IA. He received numerous awards at Florida State Science Fair, junior division. Frank became disabled and retired in 2000. Survivors include his parents Frank and Lee Ann Ward; his sister Paige Ward Jerome, her husband Craig and their son Jacob Andrew all of Vero Beach, FL. Frank is loved and cherished by relatives and friends throughout Florida, Iowa, and Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lee Andrew and Mary Jane Dean, his grandmother Ruth Atwood and his uncle, Richard Lanford. When Frank lived in Florida, he was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fort Pierce. He was an adventurer and enjoyed photography, swimming, camping and the outdoors. He was involved in scouting, youth activities/justice, and he cherished time with his only nephew, Jacob. Frank was a true friend to many and will be missed dearly. We are thankful to Frank for a lifetime of friendship, love and memories. A Mass of Christian Burial and Memorial Service will be held in Vero Beach, FL at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. The family will be greeting friends and relatives following the mass and a Celebration of Frank's life will be at Expresso Pizza at 6:30 p.m. on the same day. Frank's burial will follow at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Cemetery in Rogers, AR. Frank will be buried along side his great grandparents, grandparents, and uncle. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Boy Scout Troop 530 and mailed to 810 32nd Ave. Vero Beach, FL 32960, C/O Jacob A. Smith. Paid Obituary
