WILLIAM "TIMMY" MCCULLERS Obituary

WILLIAM "TIMMY" MCCULLERS April 12, 1960 - April 18, 2014 William Timothy McCullers, 54, of Vero Beach, Florida lost his battle with lung cancer Friday, April 18, 2014 at his home surrounded by family. Timmy was born April 12, 1960 in Vero Beach, FL to BJ McCullers, Sr. and Roberta Peterson McCullers. Timmy completed up to the 10th grade at Tabernacle Church. He then went to work for his father. Timmy became a well-known local business man for over 30 years. He was a mud racer, loved to ski and loved the river. His main goal in life was supporting his family and raising his children. He became involved with the Vero Beach Senior High School band in 2002, which became another part of his life. He volunteered with local charities around Vero for the last 13 years. Timmy had a BIG heart and gave help whenever he was needed. He was also a member of The First Baptist Church of Vero Beach. Timmy was survived by his wife of 28 years Holly Romine McCullers, his three children: Allison McCullers Bartlett (Teresa), Joshua McCullers (Tracey) and Angela Joy McCullers, all of Vero Beach. Siblings Jimmy McCullers (Cindy) of Okeechobee, FL and Deborah Bryant (Doug) of Troy, AL. He was predeceased by two sons Steven William and Gary Lee as well as his granddaughter Destiny Lee, who we believed took him home as she would have been 5 this month. We love and miss him dearly. He will always be in each of our hearts. Bless him and keep him. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fighting Indians Band Boosters, P.O Box 5124 Vero Beach, FL 32961. Please make checks payable to Fighting Indians Band Boosters. A Celebration of Life will begin at 10AM, Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach, FL.
