MARZKE Arthur Hermann Marzke, 85, died Monday, May 19, 2014. Born in Rosemont, Nelson, B.C., he was a son of the late Konrad Willy Hubert and Malvina Justina Tabert Marzke. Mr. Marzke was retired from Hawks Nest Golf Club in Florida and was of the Presbyterian faith. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served during the Korean War, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the US and the VFW Post #3918, Vero Beach, FL. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Annette Marzke Fuller of Greenville and Molly Ann Marzke Bryant of Taylors; a grandson, Justin Fuller of Williamston; two great grandchildren, Janelle and Adam Fuller both in Williamston; two brothers, Eric Marzke and Ronald "Ron" Marzke; a son-in-law, Daniel C. Fuller of Easley; and a granddaughter-in-law, Michelle Fuller of Williamston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery. Memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680 or the , 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
