JOYCE ESPITEE Joyce Espitee, 72, of Sebastian FL, formerly of New Milford, CT passed peacefully on July 9, 2014 at Vero Beach Hospice House. Joyce Ellen Kasemodel, the youngest of 11, was born on December 27th, 1941. Joyce worked as a stenographer for an insurance company in Sioux Falls SD. In 1961 she moved to California and worked as a legal secretary. It was there she met and married Phil Espitee in Sherman Oaks. After Phil got out of the Marine Corps in 1964, they moved to New Milford, CT where she worked for Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 25 years before retiring to Florida in 2000. Joyce was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Micco, FL; Sebastian Women's Club and a past member of Barefoot Bay Computer Club where she taught computer classes for several years. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Phil Espitee, son Philip Espitee, Jr. and wife Tracey, daughter Dawn Siepmann and husband Barry. She leaves 4 grandchildren: Taylor, Rebecca and Austin Espitee and Michael Siepmann. She was preceded in death by grandson RJ Siepmann and brothers Alvin Kasemodel, Marvin Kasemodel and Delmar Kasemodel. Joyce is survived by the following siblings: Berniece Falcosky, Tempe, AZ, Leona Wallenberg, Lucille Gangestad, Sioux Falls, SD, Marvella "Sis" Beck, Aberdeen, SD, Robert Kasemodel, Escanaba, MI, Albert "Gene" Kasemodel, Renner, SD and Carol Sels, Sioux Falls, SD. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews and by friends and family in CT and FL. Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 14th, 2pm at Concordia Lutheran Church, Barefoot Bay, FL. We ask that memorial contributions be made to VNA and Hospice Foundation 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960-4801 or Concordia Lutheran Church 300 Barefoot Boulevard, Micco, FL 32976. A Celebration of Life will be announced for August in New Milford and Sioux Falls, SD for the fall.
