NORMA VALENTINA CIOLA Norma Valentina Ciola, 93, died August 2, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida. Ms. Ciola was born in Vero Beach, Florida and moved to Fort Pierce at the age of 3. She graduated from St. Anastasia Catholic School in 1939 and was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Norma worked in local businesses as a secretary until 1951, when she applied and was accepted into the Foreign Service Dept. of State. She served in Europe, South America, Canada, and Washington D.C. Upon her retirement in 1972, she worked for Communication Workers of America for 10 years. She also enjoyed many years of volunteer work. Survivors include her nieces, Ann Rise, Susie Beale, Suzanne Tessier, and Mary Frances Martin; nephews, Eddie Richardson, Charles Evans, and Ricky Evans; 22 grand and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Emma Evans, Pauline White and Anita Richardson. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anastasia Catholic School, 401 S. 33rd Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34947. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
