Arthur J. Sheehan, 83, died March 11, 2010, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Fort Pierce. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Port St. Lucie since 1987, coming from Long Island, N.Y. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a musician and played many venues on the Treasure Coast. He was lead vocalist for the 18-piece band The Dreamers. He also volunteered with WQCS 88.9 FM to read to the blind. He was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church and American Legion Post 318, both in Port St. Lucie. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Patricia M. Sheehan of Port St, Lucie; daughters, Terry Civitarese and Cyndee Payne, both of Gastonia, N.C., Christine Aurichio of Bay Shore, N.Y., and Joanne Mullings-Reese of Port St. Lucie; son, Joseph Mullings of Palm Beach; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
