George L. Patterson, 86, died April 12, 2010, at his home. He was born in Philadelphia and lived in Port St. Lucie for 21 years, coming from Lancaster, Pa. He was an Army veteran serving in World War II. He was a member of the Searchers Bible Study of First United Methodist Church of Port St. Lucie. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Dorothy Patterson; daughter, Kathryn Fogie of Landisville, Pa.; stepdaughters, Maria McCadden of Port St. Lucie, and Jeannie Milburn of Lancaster, Pa.; son, Lawrence Patterson of Lancaster, Pa.; stepsons, Michael Gullberg of Los Angeles and Christopher Gullberg of Souderton, Pa.; sister, Grace Dalrymple of Manchester, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. services: A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. April 16, with a viewing at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Port St. Lucie, 260 S.W.
