Raymond E. Slowik, 58, died July 24, 2010. He was born in New Bedford, Mass., and was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 25 years, coming from Ft. Lauderdale. He owned and operated R.E. Slowik Installations in Port St. Lucie. He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Elks of Port St. Lucie. Survivors include his wife, Jill Slowik of Port St. Lucie; son, Jonathan Miller of North Carolina; daughter, Christina Colton; mother, Doris Slowik of Fairhaven, Mass.; and sisters, Carol Pereira, Robin Claflin and Tina La Fountain, all of Fairhaven, Mass. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Slowik. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Lucie County Humane Society, 100 Savannah Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
