Ralph L. Picklesimer, 83, died Nov. 30, 2010, at his home. He was born in Franklin, N.C., and lived in Sebastian for 20 years, coming from his birthplace. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of the Freemasons and the Shriners. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Yukie Picklesimer of Sebastian; sons, James Edward Picklesimer of Fort Worth, Texas, and Charles H. Picklesimer of Raleigh, N.C.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Newel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 2020 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. Services: A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 10 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian. Arrangements are by Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Sebastian.
