Adam I. Steckler, 49, died Jan. 22, 2011, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce. He was born in Bayside, N.Y. He spent his childhood in New York and lived in Port St. Lucie since 2003, coming from Broward County. He was a customer service trainer in Boca Raton. He also was a DJ and karaoke entertainer. He graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo High School in Bayside in 1979. Survivors include his wife of 7 Ã‚Â½ years, Jennifer Steckler of Port St. Lucie; sons, Billy Currier, Jesse Steckler, Nicholas Currier and Elijah Steckler, all of Port St. Lucie; brother, Darryl Steckler of New York; and sister, Shari Steckler of New York. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Elly Steckler. Memorial contributions may be made to: Life Alliance, Attn: Josie, 225 N.E. 34th St. Ste 100, Miami, FL 33137. Services: Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Jan. 30 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel with a service at 2 p.m. following the visitation in the chapel.
