Adam Holt Homer, 30, died Jan. 26, 2012. He was born in West Palm Beach to Bruce and Rebecca "Penny" Homer. He was an insurance salesman, a graduate of Dunklin Memorial Camp, and a member of Kiwanis of Okeechobee. He attended More 2 Life Ministries. Survivors include his son, Brenden of Okee-chobee; stepdaughter, Eliza of Okeechobee; father, Bruce A. Homer of Okeechobee; mother, Rebecca "Penny" Homer of Okeechobee; sisters, Rachel Homer of Sebastian and Amy Davenport of Peachtree City, Ga.; grandmother, Mary Jo Hoover O'Dell of Okeechobee; and fiancee, Megan Gwaltney of Okeechobee. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roy Hoover; and uncle, Robbie Hoover. Memorial contributions may be made to Dunklin Memorial Camp, 3342 S.W. Hosannah Lane, Okeechobee, FL 34974. Services: Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Jan 30 at First Baptist Church of Okeechobee, followed by a service at 2 p.m. Arrangements are by Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home in Okeechobee.
