FREDERICK HERBERT FELTON Frederick Herbert Felton, 83, died Feb. 11 at his residence in Stuart. He was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Akron, Ohio, and resided on Lake Roaming Rock, Roaming Shores, Ohio, before settling permanently in Stuart. Mr. Felton graduated from Kent State University and received his master's degree from John Carroll University. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served as a Staff Sergeant in the Korean War. He was a chaplain for the Marine Corps League in Stuart. Mr. Felton taught school for 33 years, mostly in Cleveland Heights and University Heights, Ohio. He served as a councilman for the Village of Roaming Shores. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, and its director of His Servants' Place, the church's soup kitchen. He was past president and member of North River Shores Association, and also a member of the Cocoanut Point Yacht Club. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary Jeroldine of Stuart, Florida; son, Robert Harger of Solon, Ohio; daughter, Kathleen Prucnell (Stephen) of Bradenton, Florida; daughter, Debra Harger of Debary, Florida; brother, Charles Felton (Eileen) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and seven grandchildren, Joel Robbins, Eric Robbins, Adam Robbins, Cassandra Harger, Lynda Judy, Bryan Judy and Jennifer Prucnell. Visitation will be held 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at Aycock Funeral Home, 505 South Federal Highway, in Stuart. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2450 SE Ocean Blvd., Stuart, with burial at 2 p.m. at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, 1501 South Kanner Highway, Stuart.
