FRANK A. RUDA, 66, died 2-21-14 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. He was born 06-15-47 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Frank A. Ruda, Sr. and Catherine Solomond. He was a veteran of Vietnam War, having served 3 tours in the United States Marine Corp. He was an ironworker/boilermaker, construction worker and resident of Ft. Pierce for 30 years. He retired from long- haul trucking in 2006 to Live Oak, FL. He enjoyed building custom Harley's, helping others, his dogs and his home. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Susan Ruda, 2 daughters, Miranda Dean and Michelle Ruda, his son, Frank Hamilton, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A memorial picnic and motorcycle run will be held Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 12-3 at the Museum Point Park, Ft. Pierce Inlet, South Beach.
