David Cantley Obituary


DAVID KNEEDLER CANTLEY David Kneedler Cantley, of Stuart, Florida, died peacefully in his home in Costa Rica on Saturday, March 29, after a long battle with cancer. He was 77. Cantley, son of Walter John Cantley and Anne Kneedler Cantley of Jenkintown, PA, graduated from Jenkintown High in 1955, and from Yale University in 1959. He is a former resident of Medfield, MA, Huntingdon Valley, PA, and Northfield, NJ. He will be lovingly remembered as an avid fisherman, great storyteller, devoted friend and brother, and adoring husband and father. Surviving are his wife Maureen Cantley; children Erica and Paige Cantley, Sheila, Callie, and Frankie Grissman; and brothers Walter J., Jr. and Herbert L. Cantley. Celebration of life services will be held later this spring in Stuart, Florida, and at the Episcopal Church of Our Savior in Jenkintown, PA.
