CAROL GOODPASTER ANTCZAK Carol Goodpaster Antczak, a longtime Florida resident, died April 18th at the age of 85 after a long recuperation from a fall last November. Mrs. Antczak was born Aug 29,1929 in Mt. Pulaski, IL. Upon graduation from Mt. Pulaski high school, she moved to Miami to help her mother establish a new home there. She married Henry John Antczak in 1954 and raised three children in Miami before moving to Fountain Hills, AZ in 1980. In 1984 they made a permanent move back to Florida settling in Palm City. Besides finding joy in being devoted to her family and home, she enjoyed flowers, embroidery, cooking, and working. While residing in Palm City, she was employed by the Martin County Teachers Credit Union and Bloom Again Consignment store. In addition to her husband Henry, she is survived by her daughter Nancy Gyland of Jupiter, FL, and sons Thomas Antczak of Orlando, FL and Michael Antczak of Monticello, GA, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and brothers Don Goodpaster of Stuart, FL and Ed Goodpaster of Baltimore, MD. Services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, May 3rd at Riverside Cemetery in Tequesta.
