TROY — Eva M. Wagonrod, age 92, of Troy passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Vinton, OH on January 18, 1922 to the late James F. and Myrtle (Stone) Jacobs.
Eva married William E. Wagonrod on March 27, 1943: he preceded her in death on December 10, 2002.
Eva is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Eve and William Simms of Cincinnati, OH, Treva and Robert Alexander of Georgetown, KY and Billie Sue and Ernest Schaefer of Troy, OH; three sisters: Elma Hart of Winter Haven, FL, Peggy Jacobs of Mansfield, OH and Mary Jayne (Jim) Duerk of Naples, FL; one brother: John (Marie) Jacobs of Canada, KY; one granddaughter: Jennifer (Mark) Flinn-Dickey, Oak Grove, KY; one great granddaughter: Kaitlyn Doseck; one great grandson: Braden Anderson; two great great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; seventeen step great grandchildren; fifteen step great great grandchildren and one step great great great grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, Eva was preceded in death by two grandchildren, one brother, two sisters and one step grandchild.
Eva was a graduate of Vinton High School. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy and the Troy Grandmother's Club No. 369.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 5, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with Rev. William Simms officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH. Friends may call from 1:00 – 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
