Robert "Bob" Brading

PIQUA — Robert "Bob" Brading passed away Feb. 15, 2014, at Heartland of Piqua.

He was a World War II veteran. He served in the Army from 1942-1945 in the Philippine Islands.

He was an employee of BF Goodrich where he worked for 32 years.

He enjoyed being a Scoutmaster. He also enjoyed being a youth leader at Union Baptist Church where he was an active member for 56 years.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Dorothy (Rothrock) Brading, who lives at Garbry Ridge in Piqua. Their daughter, Patricia Miller (Craig Miller) of Sidney; their son, Ronald Brading (Jackie Brading) of Germantown; and his brother, Donald (Annafay) of Sidney. He has five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial visitation service will be from 1:30-3:30 p.m. March 2 at Union Baptist Church, 1833 E. Peterson Road, Troy.
