ST. PARIS - Paul M. Hawkins, 37, of St. Paris, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, in Piqua.
Born in Troy, Ohio, on Oct. 5, 1975, Paul is the son of Kennah R. Hawkins of Troy and Diana (Brown) Carey of Piqua, both of whom survive.
He also is survived by his wife, Sherry Grace (Dulen) Hawkins, whom he married June 5, 2011. He was a loving father to five children, Krista, Kennah and Katelynn Hawkins of Piqua and Michael and Samuel Hawkins of St. Paris. He also is survived by his maternal grandfather, Charles Brown of Vandalia; two sisters, Angela (David) Kunka of Kettering and Jennifer (Justin) Cruea of Troy, two nieces, Samantha Kunka and Taylor Cruea; three nephews, Conner Kunka, Johnnie and Jackson Cruea; and his dad's former wife, Tina Hawkins of Troy.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Magel; paternal grandmother, Ruby Hawkins; and maternal grandmother, Mary E. Brown.
Paul was a 1994 graduate of Troy High School.
He was a truck driver for Bulk Transit, Sidney, and he enjoyed his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
His children were his pride and joy and he was a good family man.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service for Paul will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, in Trinity Church, 622 Gordon St., Piqua, Ohio, with the Rev. Michael Gross presiding. Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield St.,
