TIPP CITY — Joe Eidemiller, 85 of Tipp City passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 11, 2014.

Born April 17, 1928 in Butler Township, Ohio to the late Ralph and Cosette (Stoner) Eidemiller. Also preceding him in death are Brothers; Stewart and George Eidemiller, Sisters; Gail Eidemiller, Leah Schaefer and Jean Oswalt. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years; Linda {Wollenhaupt} Eidemiller, Tipp City, sons; Eric Eidemiller (Nicole Timko), Fletcher, OH, Elden (Colleen) Eidemiller, Troy, OH, sister; Shirley Fritz, Boca Raton, FL, Charlotte (Kent) Genslinger, Germantown, OH, sister in-law; Amy Eidemiller and brother in-law; Dallas Oswalt along with grandchildren; Jacob Eidemiller, Rebekah Eidemiller, Olivia Hines and Grant Eidemiller.

Joe was a member of the Nashville United Church of Christ, Tippecanoe Senior Citizens, Bethel High School Alumni Association, Bethel Sports Hall of Fame Inductee, Pioneer Electrical Board of Trustees Emeritus, Farm Service Agency Board and owned and operated the family farm in Miami County.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Nashville United Church of Christ, Pastor Lynn Labs officiating, burial to follow in Wheelock Cemetery, Nashville, OH. Visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371 and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

Contributions may be made in loving memory of Joe to the Nashville United Church of Christ or Tippecanoe Senior Citizens.
