Paul E. Kendall

BRADFORD - Paul E. Kendall, 81, of Bradford, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at his home.
He was born Dec. 21, 1930, in Logansport, Ind., to the late Cyril "Buddy" Kendall and Pauline (Sprinkle) Kendall-Chesterson.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carolyn Kendall; son, Rex Kendall and his friend, Bonnie Johnston of Greenville; daughter, Brenda Kendall-Scott and her husband, Kevin, of Covington; three grandchildren, Anna Kendall-Hoffman and her husband, Cody, of Ofallin, Ill., Benjamin Cornett of Bradford and Angela Kendall and her fiancé, Ryan Neiswander of Bradford; three great-grandchildren, Alexis Cornett, Haidyn Tully and Eli Hoffman; five nieces, Melondy Zagula, Karen Kendall, Kim (Todd) Alexander, Karen (Rick) Sedam and Kelly (Steve) Lear; five nephews, Kim Brant, Robert Duane (Pat) Christman, Chuck (Carolyn) Brant, John (Maryanne) Kendall and Jamie Pettit; many great nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Kendall was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fritz Kendall; and nephew, Kenneth Pettit Jr.
Paul moved to Bradford in 1946 and graduated from Bradford High School, class of 1949.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served during the Korean War; a member of the Bradford United Methodist Church; and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie No. 3998, Covington.
He loved woodworking and spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids. You could often find him sitting on his front porch where he spent many hours relaxing and visiting with friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford, with Pastor Lance Elliott officating. Interment will be in Miami Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, as well as from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday.
