Dorothy Hoel Obituary
She was born February 6, 1908 and was predeceased by her husband of 60 years. Bill Hoel who died in 1988 and by a sister and granddaughter. Her passion was her family and the time she spent with them always included a card game.
A memorial service for her will be at 5 p.m. Friday, January 22nd at the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury 19 Church Road, Shrewsbury, MA. Donations can be made in her honor at Pines of Sarasota 1501 N. Orange Avenue ~ Sarasota, Florida 34236 http://www.pinesofsarasota.com/

Hello.. I wish to send my condolence to my family, We wish we could of spend more time with her. I remember when she came to visit us years back she made a blanket for one of my children.. I remember her trying to teach me to make one... o boy what a mess that was.. I know her and my mom are together.. And I miss them VERY much... JIll Wood and family.. All the way from Hawaii

Hello.. This is Jill Wood wrighting for her family in Hawaii... My great grandma will be missed by us.. Even thou we did not have much time with her.. I think of her and remember when she came to visit us years ago. I know my mom and her are together now and they will both be missed very much.. I love you both... Love your family in Hawaii.

Paula and I extend our deepest sympathy for your loss.
I was so glad I was able to see Dot at her 100th birthday party in FL several years ago and will always have fond memories spending time during summer vacations with Aunt Dot and Uncle Bill (my godfather)at their store in Vermont when I was growing up. I can also recall the evening card games with Dot in their residence over the village store and their stopping off to attend our Wedding when Paula and I got married. These and many other fond memories will remain with me always.

I remember the way she called her girls home when we were kids playing ! I am thankful that I was able to spend more time with her in recent years.God Bless you all. Love Joyce Ringgard
