I remember him from when my dad (Fred Martin) worked at Reisner's. He was always nice to me and my dad. He always asked me or my dad how I was doing. He cared about people.

One of the nicest human beings ever to have been placed, on this earth! Our family will hold your memory, close to our hearts, for as long as we live. Your" Smile" will always be with us! Your caring ,thoughtfulness, sincerity, and generosity, was second to none. You have touched the lives of so many people, and have surely made God proud . I will never forget the Great Stories, Coin Tricks, Card Tricks, and Genuine moments, you shared with me. It meant so much to me, when you showed up , at the Clinton Hospital, when I thought, I would not make it ,after my heart and spinal cord complications, from my car accident . You and your family, have helped me, and my family, get through some of the most difficult times imagineable. We will be forever grateful, to the entire Reisner Family, who are now greiving your loss. You were always there for me, and my family. You will always be in our prayers! I am certainly going to miss you, Buddy ! YOU WERE THE BEST! May God Bless You , Marty,Maura, Billy, Mary, Jeffery, Liz , Panina, and Mary Pat. He was so special. You have been blessed to have had such a wonderful person, in your lives. With the greatest respect and heartfelt sorrow, Ray,Nancy and Jen Marhefka

Harold Reisner truly personified a loving, giving man to family, faith and community. His open heart and open wallet were often appreciated by the Lancaster school community. his children were a gift to teach and know. Thank you for being part so many lives.

News of Harold's passing quickly traveled across country and back. My Mom first received word when I called her from Davis, California.
Harold's message has repeated itself during these last couple of days as reflected by friends and family and which Liz affirmed on the Bima this morning.
"It is all about relationships."
Thankyou,Harold
Our condolances to the Reisner family,

Thank you to the Reisner family for sharing him with us. In 2002, while organizing the Lancaster Anniversary Parade, I met with him to talk over sponsorship. He worked me over for about a half hour asking about his donation, great details of the parade, and what Lancaster meant to him. He then smirked from ear to ear and told me to go out to his daughters desk. He had already wrote the check...

I worked at Reisner Corp. from 1997 to 2000 doing maintenance. I also did maintenance at Harold's house from time to time. He was always very nice to me and everyone around him. I actually could talk to him about anything and I respected him for that. My deepest condolences

Like my sister Carolyn, I fondly remember Harold, who called me "little one". He got to our early services even earlier, we loved to hear him chanting in an empty room. We assumed he was reading P'sukei d'zimra, maybe not(?). May his memory be for a blessing.

Harold, who gave you persmission to leave? You were one of my first connections with my Jewish faith and my heart aches when I think of that again empty spot in synagogue next to George. You even wrote me letters commenting on my Torah readings. I so looked up to you and you were a role model for my own legacy, that is in helping people. I will feel that sunshine that you brought to me everytime I think of you.
My best to the wonderful family you created which we talked about last time I spoke with you in synagogue.

I'm so sorry to hear of Harold's death. I was touched when he and George and Manny came down for my ordination. He always told me he was still waiting to be reimbursed for the trip! I will miss his laughter and smiles. May his memory be a blessing.

I am so very sorry to here of Mr. Reisner's passing. My dad (Fred G. Martin) drove truck and other things for 15 years at Reiner Corp.. He always treated my dad and myself, when I would meet or visit him at the yard, with kindness and respect. My dad always maintained a friendship with Harold after he left there. Harold always remembered me when we met and I was pleased to have known him. I and my family will always remember him.
When ever I am in the area and see the Reisner trucks go by it always brings back fond memories. Thanks Harold for those.

I was saddened to hear about your father's passing. He did so many wonderful things to help so many people. His example of loving and giving will hopefully be "played forward" for years to come. He will be truly missed by everyone who was fortunate to have been even a small part of his life.
My sympathies, Patti Linenkemper

To the Reisner family,
Our deepest sympathy go out to you all.
Harold was one of the kindest men we have ever known. We are lucky to have had over 20 years of his friendship. No one that knew him could ever forget his charm and warmth. (Rebecca's story brought back fond memories of his generousity to our son too!!)

I also remember Harold as a kind man. As a kid selling cool aid/ lemon aid at a stand that we setup on the corner of Cedar and Waters streets, Harold would always stop and buy some. Also as I was walking to school, sometimes he'd stop to give me a lift! He was tight w/my uncle Maurice and always had a trick/magic to show me.Quarters would fall from my ears! He will be missed. Sorry for your loss. Bill Fairbanks

One special memory that I have is at synogogue..when Harold was the President, he would always give me quarters. He would ask if I had been a good girl that week and if I had, he'd put 25 cents in my hand! I thought (at that time) he was the coolest guy ever. Except when he would get upset with the NOISY congregation and then he'd start banging on the counter. May he rest in peace.
