Marjorie C. Argento, 82

ORRTANNA, PA - Marjorie C. Argento, 82, formerly of Worcester, Mass. died peacefully Thursday morning, February 19, 2015 at her home.

Born June 24, 1932 in Bronxville, NY she was the daughter of the late Fred and Margaret (Mackey) Osborne. She was the wife of Barry J. Argento of Orrtanna, PA to whom she was married to for over 60 years.

Mrs. Argento was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Gettysburg, PA. She worked for many years as a district manager for the Cardorama Company. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

In addition to her husband, Marjorie is survived by her six children, Claire Roderique, of Orrtanna, PA, David Argento, of Orrtanna, PA, Katherine Reid, of Orrtanna, PA, Michael Argento, of Catonsville, MD, Nicholas Argento, of Columbia, MD, Andrew Argento, of Mineral, VA, 10 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Horsfall and Joan Giorgi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 45 West High St., Gettysburg, PA with Fr. Bernardo Pistone and Fr. John Bateman Con-Celebrants. Burial will be in the St. Ignatius Cemetery, Orrtanna, PA. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday evening, February 27, 2015 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 717 Market St., Lemoyne, PA 17043 or visit www.jdrf.org.
