Anna J. Janazian, 90
Worcester/Auburn - Anna J. Janazian, 90, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Anna leaves her nephew, Art Elloian and his wife, Kathleen of Charlton; nieces, Janice Choate and her husband, Ralph of Lewisville, TX, and Beverly Lawrence and her husband, Dan of Reading. She also leaves her grandnephew Jeffrey, and grandnieces Jamie, Kimberly, Meredith and Marissa. They were the joy of her life. Anna's sisters, Betty B. Janazian and Frances Elloian predeceased her.
Anna was born in Watertown, daughter of John Janig and Altoon (Kupelian). She graduated from Watertown High School in 1940. She was a volunteer with the Red Cross (Candy Striper) during WWII. She was a Senior Payroll Clerk at Cambion in Cambridge. She lived in Watertown and Belmont, and moved to Worcester in 1979.
Family was very important to Anna, and she was always taking care of her family. She was a member of the Armenian Church of our Saviour.
Anna's funeral services will be held February 8 at 10 AM in the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown. A visiting hour will be held Friday, February 8 from 9 to 10 AM in the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester, 01609.
