Mary T. Quinn, 85

Westbrook, ME - Mary Theresa (Klimkaitis) Quinn passed away on June 7, 2018 in Westbrook, ME. She was a resident of Avita of Stroudwater. She was born in Worcester, MA on August 21,1932 to Mary (Sakalauskas) & Christopher Klimkaitis. A graduate of Worcester's Commerce High School, Mary enjoyed The Arts and was particularly fond of theatre. As a young woman, she often performed in plays for the Knights of Lithuania. She met the man of her dreams while employed as secretary at Norton Company in Worcester, MA. She and her husband, John W. (Jack) Quinn were happily married for 41 years until his death in 2004. Mary and Jack lived a wonderful life together in Southborough, MA where they raised their two children, Virginia and John Jr. Mary was an avid golfer, gardener and reader. She was an active and longtime member of the Southborough Friends of the Library and volunteered her time coaching girls' softball, delivering Meals on Wheels and teaching catechism. Mary and Jack moved to South Dennis (Cape Cod) MA in the mid 1990's where they spent their time playing golf, going to the beach and entertaining friends and family. After Jack's death, Mary moved to Cape Elizabeth, ME where she resided at Village Crossing for 8 years before moving to Avita of Stroudwater in Westbrook, ME. In addition to her two children, Mary is survived by grandchildren Madeleine Morse, Jackson Quinn and Harrison Morse. She is also survived by her neice Joan (Walent) Mazeika and nephews Ronald, Philip and Joseph Walent. Mary is also predeceased by her brother Albert Klimkaitis, sister Virginia (Klimkaitis) Walent and granddaughter August Katherine Quinn. A memorial service will be held at St. Anne Parish in Southborough, MA on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. A reception to celebrate her life will follow at the Southborough Community House at 1:00 p.m.
