I have never met Vanessa but she will forever be in my heart. I think of her every single day and I mourn for her and her family every single day. I am a Princeton mom whose heart has broken from this senseless tragedy. I pray every day for justice and peace.

No words can adequately express how deeply saddened I am at the loss of Vanessa. I knew Vanessa through my nephew. She was a beautiful, smart, caring person full of love, compassion and understanding with a most amazing smile. Vanessa helped my nephew through a very difficult time in his life and our entire family will always be grateful. Your daughter was truly a wonderful human being.
She will be remembered always by all who knew her and loved her. I have a wonderful picture of Vanessa happy and smiling that I will keep close always.
While we will never fully understand why this happened we can all honor Vanessa by living our lives a bit more like her.. with love and generosity in our hearts and smiles on our faces.

Although I do not know you, I grew up in Leominster and attended Julie Country Day. Vanessa was one of our own.
May you somehow find the strength to go forward and live your lives as Vanessa lived hers...with dignity, beauty, caring and compassion for others . She was a remarkable young woman and her legacy will live on. She is your angel now. Look to her for guidance in these sorrowful and tragic times. My family is far removed in time and distance from our years of residency in Westminster, but mention of familiar places during TV coverage of Vanessa's story caught my attention. What a beautiful and admirable young woman! I cannot imagine the grief of her family and friends. They are in my prayers.

I did not know Vanessa, or her family, but I live close enough to Princeton that her tragic end and beautiful life have captured my attention. Dear Marcotte Family,
Words cannot express how much we miss Vanessa. We hired Vanessa right out of school and she jumped right into the fray of a startup. We knew instantly she was a rising star. Smart, dedicated, and willing to go the extra mile for anyone or any customer. She built strong relationships with all of her peers. You never would have known she had just graduated with her degree.
WordStream misses her terribly. I miss her immensely. We know this is just a small fraction of the hole you feel with her gone.
