Family memories of her! A life well spent; of love, laughter, intelligence. Say hello
to your siblings and our "Pop" Grise- for those of us who remain- we miss all, everyday.

Jeannette was a special member of St. Matthew Parish. My fondest memory was her reading of the the story of creation in the first chapter of the Bible on Holy Saturday. It was an expected part of the beautiful celebration and she read it in a meaningful and special way for so many years. She will be missed by many.

I taught with Jeannette during my early years of teaching at Bigelow School. She was an excellent math teacher . She was the go to coworker when it was time to balance registers at the end of the school year. At that time the school was not able to leave for the summer until the entire school balanced. We had Jeannette to be thankful for more than once. I felt that I knew all of her children with the love she shared for each one of them during our early morning chats in the teacher's room. She was a very caring teacher and from the love she had for her family carried over to her teaching. So happy to have known you my friend.

May God bless and comfort each of you in the coming days as you say goodbye to your very dear Mom. I have such fond memories of Aunt Jeanette.... her twinkling eyes and the laughter she so readily shared. May she rest in peace and may you all feel her great love for you. I will be with you in spirit.

What a great photo of Aunt Jeannette! A remarkable woman, she will forever reside our hearts. She is, and will remain, an inspiration to those touched by her joie de vivre. There are countless memories to recall between the Young and Careau families, with Aunt Jeannette as a centerpiece. Monica, Eddie, Bernadette and Theresa (and your families): may God's tender mercy sustain you in your grief. With Love.~L.
