Cynthia "Cyndi" Amy (Graves) O'Brien, 49

Holden - Cynthia "Cyndi" Amy (Graves) O'Brien, 49, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 after an illness. Born in Boston, Cyndi was the daughter of Elizabeth A. (Hearns) Graves and the late Russell D. Graves. She was raised in Shrewsbury and lived 25 years in Holden before recently moving to Worcester. She graduated from Shrewsbury High School, class of 1986.

Cyndi was dedicated to her job for the last 15 years working at Reliant Medical Group for Dr. Stephen Smith. She was a listening ear, a compassionate nurturer and used her many skills to help patients with the complexities of their medical experience.

She summered at her family's cottage on Lake Manchaug in Sutton for over 35 years and looked forward to vacationing at Old Orchard Beach in Maine. She was extremely outgoing, engaging and enjoyed entertaining and cooking for family and friends. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, sister and grandmother whom lit up a room with her smile.

She will be lovingly remembered, and missed by her children, Erica E. O'Brien, Alyssa A. O'Brien, Jacob T. O'Brien all of Holden; her mother, Elizabeth A. Graves of Worcester; a brother, Stephen D. Graves of Lacey, Wasington; her loving companion, Joe Caforio of Worcester; two grandchildren, Noah and Anthony Martin and two nieces, Staci Graves and Danielle McGrady.
