Eileen Buote Obituary
Eileen M. (Molloy) Buote, 94

Clinton - Eileen M. (Molloy) Buote, 94, died peacefully Friday, July 6, 2018 at UMass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus, Worcester, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves three children: Richard Buote and his wife, Barbara, of Clinton, Robert Buote and his wife, Sharon, of Medina, WA, and Jeanne Montecalvo and her husband, Paul, of Lutz, FL; six grandchildren: Michelle Schmidt, Jodie Grady, Brian Buote, Paul Montecalvo, Jr., Kimberly Montecalvo, and Dr. Nicole Buote; nine adoring great-grandchildren: Ryan, Colin, Maeghan, Brendan, Jackson, Austin, Amberlyn, William, and Nicholas. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur R. Buote, who died in 1957.

Eileen was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of John and Mabel (Santon) Molloy. She was a graduate of Worcester schools, and held an Associate's Degree in Nursing. She was a long-time resident of Clinton.

A Registered Nurse, Eileen worked at the Veteran's Hospital in Jamaica Plain for many years, and prior to her retirement in 1993, in area nursing home facilities.

A member of St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Parish, the Licensed Nursing Organization, and the Clinton Senior Citizens, she enjoyed knitting, reading, and trips to the beach. However, time spent in the company of her family, especially her great-grandchildren, was, by far, her greatest joy.

Eileen's funeral will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 from the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Marlboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour at the funeral home on Monday morning, July 16, 2018, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., prior to the funeral Mass. Donations may be made to St. John the Guardian of our Lady Parish, 149 Chestnut St., Clinton, MA 01510.
