Jeannette L. (Lacoste) Connery, 93

Clinton - Jeannette L. (Lacoste) Connery, 93, died Monday, September 10, 2018, in Sterling Village, Sterling.

She is survived by seven children: Henry "Joe" Connery, III, Michael A. Connery and his wife, Nikki, all of Leominster, David Connery, and his companion, Janet, of Tampa, FL, Marcia A. Potas, and her husband, Donald, of Berlin, Mark A. Connery, and his wife, Julia, of Hubbardston, Theresa O'Sullivan, and her husband, Dennis "Sully," of Boylston, and Francis Connery, and his wife, Carolyn Nolan, of Leominster; a brother, Kenneth Lacoste, of Belchertown; two sisters: Elizabeth Stevens, of Oxford, and Victoria Swett, of Auburn; ten grandchildren: Lisa, Sean, Laurie, Nickolas, Tina, Scott, Sarah, Craig, Michael, and Matthew; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Henry J. Connery, Jr., who died in 1999; two daughters-in-law, Rosemary Connery, and Linda Connery; ten siblings; and life-long friends, Tom and Jessie Keating.

Jeannette was born in and raised in the Rochedale section of Leicester, daughter of Joseph A. and Emma E. (Lessard) Lacoste. She attended local schools, and had been a resident of Clinton for more than 70 years.

Prior to becoming a wife and mother, she was employed by American Optical Co., and the former Chaffee Casket Co.

A member of St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Parish, Jeannette enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, bird watching, and was an avid Boston Red Sox and Bruins fan.

The Connery family wishes to thank the staff at Sterling Village for their compassionate care.

Jeannette's funeral will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, with a service at 10:00 a.m. in the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Saturday morning, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., prior to the funeral service. For those who wish, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Jimmy Fund, c/o Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
