Worcester - Joseph W. Biscardi, 88, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, in the tender care of his daughter and the caring staff at Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. His wife of fifty years, Maria (Caramiello) Biscardi, predeceased him in September 2016.

Joseph was born in Worcester, son of the late, Joseph and Maria (Caramiello) Biscardi, and has been a life-long resident.

He is survived by his daughter, Maria A. Biscardi Roche and her partner William Horan; his grandson, Marc Roche, all of Worcester; nephews and nieces. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Jeanne (Phaneuf) Biscardi, as well as by two brothers, Father Pasquale Biscardi and Frank Biscardi.

Joseph retired in 1987 as Head Cook from Worcester State Hospital, where he had worked for over twenty years. He had previously worked as a baker for several bakeries in and around Worcester. He was a long time member of the former Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Joseph's main focus in life was his wife, daughter, and grandson; family meant the world to him.

Joseph's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and cna's at Holy Trinity, especially those in the Hillside Unit, for their care, comfort, and compassion.
