I remember Lilyan so well from my days as a student at the School of the Worcester Art Museum from 1967-70. Lilyan had a great sense of humor, a quick wit and a warm, open heart. She was so kind to my friend and me, another SWAM student and gave us both gifts upon our graduation, gifts that she had made specially for us. Mine was a belt made of enameled discs held together my chain work which I still have today (though admittedly it's a bit snugger fit these days). I am so happy your mother lived a long and fruitful life and I'm sure she enjoyed every moment of it. I am so pleased to have known her. You have my sincerest sympathy, Janet Shulman
