Helen M. Ormond, 75,

North Grafton - Helen M. Ormond, 75, of North Grafton died Saturday, May 24.

Helen leaves a sister, Grace R. Bovenzi and a brother, John P. "Jack" Ormond both of North Grafton; 24 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Two brothers, William Ormond and Patrick Ormond; three sisters, Nancy Dudko, Katherine Carey and Mitzi Sweeney and a niece, Kathy (Carey) Lomartire predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of William J. and Mary E. (Powers) Ormond and graduated from Saint Stephen's High School.

Helen was a supervisor for the former New England Telephone Company, retiring in 1990. She worked part-time at Bennie's Café and the former Irish Club on Millbury Street. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Telephone Pioneers of America and an auxiliary member of the Grafton American Legion Post #92. She enjoyed bowling. Helen had a larger than life heart and great sense of kindness and generosity. She had an overwhelming love for her family and will be missed by all that knew her.

The Funeral will be held Thursday, May 29 from CALLAHAN~FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester with a Liturgy of the Word at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's Church, 17 Waterville St., No. Grafton. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Wednesday, May 28 from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, Emerald Club, Inc. P.O.
