Leonard A. Bradshaw, 87

WORCESTER - Leonard A. Bradshaw, 87 of Worcester passed away Tuesday, November 5 in St. Vincent Hospital.

He leaves his wife of 59 years, Mary T. (Donoghue) Bradshaw; three daughters, Catherine C. and her husband Peter J. Lepore of Worcester, Margaret R. and her husband Michael J. Moynahan of Holden and Mary T. and her husband Kevin J. Johnson of Leicester; eight grandchildren, Patrick, Kristen, Sean, David, Meaghan, Kelly, Julie and Colleen; a great-grandson, Cole and many nieces and nephews. A sister, Janice I. Thienel predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Austin and Madeline (Kelly) Bradshaw and graduated from Commerce High School and was a Navy Veteran of WWII.

Leonard was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service for many years, before retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, the Knights of Columbus Alhambra Council #88, the Bishop O'Reilly 4th Degree Assembly, the Vernon Hill American Legion Post #435 and a longtime member at the former Calvary Retreat Center.

The Funeral will be held Saturday, November 9 from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston with a Mass at 10:00 AM In Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Friday, November 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
