Norma M. (Caplette) Conway, 82

North Oxford - Norma M. (Caplette) Conway, 82, of Thayer Pond Drive, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loved ones on May 11, 2017.

She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Wilfred W. Conway of North Oxford, who died in 1989. She is survived by five children, Richard Conway and his wife Donna of Auburn, Cheryl Weagle and her husband James of Warren, Russell Conway and his wife Sandy of Charlton, Ronald Conway and his wife Darlene of Dudley, and Carol Gilman and her husband Francis of Sturbridge; a brother, Robert Caplette of Arizona; two sisters, Jacqueline Sullivan of Oxford, and Martha Graves of New Hampshire; her sister-in-law, Betty Caplette of Oxford; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Caplette; two sisters-in law, Marilyn Caplette and Gloria A. Dudley; and three brothers-in-law, Richard Graves, Richard Dudley, and David Sullivan. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late George and Doris (Spring) Caplette, and was a lifelong resident of North Oxford. She graduated from Girls Trade High School in Worcester.

Mrs. Conway was a waitress at Periwinkle's Restaurant (currently J. Anthony's Restaurant) in Auburn for over 30 years, retiring 1997. Previously, she worked at Paul Hats in Worcester. She was a lifelong member of St. Ann's Church in North Oxford. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rose Monahan Hospice Residence for their exceptional care and compassion during Norma's time there.

A funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Tuesday, May 16, 2017, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Road, Worcester, MA 01602.
