John B. Link III
LaGrange, GA - Mr. John B. Link III, 81 of LaGrange, GA, formerly of Nashville, TN for over 50 years, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Link was born July 5, 1938 in Waverly, TN to the late John Banks Link, Jr. and the late Rose Comfort Raulston Link. He was a longtime member of Christ Presbyterian Church and was very active both personally and professionally in the Nashville community, giving over 5500 Volunteer hours at the VA Hospital. Mr. Link received a Mechanical Engineering Degree at the University of Tennessee and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence Degree from the Nashville School of Law during his educational tenure and offered countless hours of "Pro bono publico" through his private practice. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was patriotic to the core.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Evans Link; son, J. Banks (Tracy) Link IV of Nashville, TN; daughter, Evans Link (Edwin) Eiler of LaGrange, GA; brother, William R. Link of Groveland, FL; granddaughters, Taylor Griffin Link, Ingram P. Link, and Ellie Grace Eiler; grandson, Edison B. Eiler; other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00am Monday, November 11, 2019 at the Shadowlawn Cemetery Mausoleum with Pastor Jason Jones officiating. A Memorial Service will be held in Nashville, TN at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice in memory of John B. Link III.
