Margaret,
We were so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Even at this sad time, what I remember most about Bill -- and of you -- is the bright smiles, hearty laughter and big hugs that greeted us every time we saw you at the reunions. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Uncle Bill,
You mean so many things to so many people but the thing I will remember most is your wonderful smile and great sense of humor! No matter what was going on in your life you always had a smile for everyone around you. I love you and will miss you, but I know you are in heaven watching over Aunt Margaret Nell! I love you!

Dear Akines family,

I am so sorry for your loss, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I have met several USS Indianapolis survivors last year at the 65th reunion, it was very impressive for me.

Dearest Margaret and family, we are terribly saddened to hear of Bill's passing. Both Sandi & I were heartbroken to learn of your loss, and we will miss his warm smile and cheerful words at each gathering of his shipmates from the USS Indianapolis. However, my heart is lightened knowing Bill is with my Dad & so many of his other shipmates in that wonderful place we shall hopefully all meet again. Love you all.
