I never worked with Mike but he had a gift of making others feel special. He would never pass me without smiling and saying hi or stopping for a short chat. He would make me feel better for the rest of the day. RIP Mike

I am Mike’s son-in-law Josh. I didn’t know Mike as well as some but I do know his daughter real well (my wife April). I know that a lot of April’s wonderful traits came from her father. I think Mike’s greatest achievement in his life was raising April into the woman she is today. I have to say I was a little intimidated of Mike in the beginning especially when I asked him if I could marry his daughter but there was something about him that made me want to be around him as much as possible. This isn’t good-by Mike it’s “I’ll see you in the morning.”

I did not know Mike except for a conversation we had on the phone several years ago. I had served with his brother Frank in the Marine Corps in Vietnam and been with Frank the day he died. My wife and I send our condolences to the Adams family. I wish I had the chance to meet him in person because he seemed to be a nice man.

God will bless you mike. There is no doubt. East station was a special place, because of you. I guess we had a little extra bond, because of Father Ryan. You always had that sunny smile, that made all the clouds disappear. I'm sure your family is very proud of your life-- I am, because you made a big influence on a lot of rookie cops !!! THANKS MIKE !!
