Curtis "Hilock" Kenneth Rogers passed away suddenly on December 21, 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Donzale' Kennedy Rogers; sons, David (Shreka) Rogers and Gavin Perry; brothers, Leonard (Rev. Teresa) Simmons of Loris, SC, William Simmons, Sr. of Conway, SC and Robert Tyrone (Charnette) of Chesapeake, VA; sister-in-law, Yvonne Bender and her son, Carson Bender; devoted cousin, Genar (Rev. Jerry) Faulk; a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Curtis retired from Textron Aerostructures after 34 years of service as an Inspector. His love for fine and antique cars was well known. He was a collector of many things. Curtis never met a stranger, and acquired many friends over the years at work and in his personal life. He also loved his "fur kids" Princess and Buddy.

Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, December 28th at two thirty in the afternoon, in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall. Visitation with family and friends from one o'clock until the service, two thirty at Woodlawn. Pallbearers will be fellow employees of Textron.
