LIGON, D. HuffmanAge 84 of Mt. Juliet. February 24, 2013. A native of Wilson County, he was the son of the late Mack Richard Ligon Sr. and Fannie Davis Ligon. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Barton's Creek Baptist Church. He retired from National Life Insurance Co. He was preceded in death by brothers, Wendell and Mack Richard Ligon Jr. He is survived by his wife of forty eight years, Betty Grace "Betsy" Ligon; brother, Benton E. (Ernesteen) Ligon; three sisters, Delores Spickard, Glenda Miller, Wilma (Roger) Lancina; sister-in-law, Beverly Ligon; several nieces and nephews. His remains rest at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Lebanon, where funeral services are Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Billy Trice officiating. Honorary Pallbearers: Ten o'clock Morning Coffee Group Burger King, Wayne Hodges, Wendell Winfree. Active Pallbearers: Family and Friends. Interment Barton's Creek Cemetery.
