Flecia Antoinette Jackson Conley was born in Greenville, Mississippi on May 30, 1964 to Gloria Jackson Dexter. She was an only child. Flecia was reared in a loving extended Christian family. At the tender age of nine, she accepted Christ into her life at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Los Angeles, California.
Flecia attended grade school in Greenville, Mississippi and in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Ainsworth High School in Flint, Michigan. Flecia attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the University of Michigan
in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Flecia met and married the love of her life, James Conley, Jr., on September 9, 1989. Their union blessed Flecia with three children, Caleb, Jonathan and Carissa. Flecia was a strong and nurturing mother who dedicated her life to taking care of her family. Flecia began work at Ford Motor Credit Company in 2003 and continued there until she was stricken with cancer. Flecia was an active member of her church community. She taught Sunday school, played the piano, and sang in her church choir.
On November 13, 2013 at 1:30 p.m., Flecia, age 49, passed away. She now resides in the House of the Lord.
Flecia leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Gloria Jackson Dexter; her husband, James Conley, Jr. and three children, Caleb, Jonathan and Carissa. In addition, she leaves her Aunt Vangie Johnson (Johnny), Aunt Lillie Bynum, Aunt Barbara Ewing; Uncle Robert Dunn; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Linda Conley and James Conley, Sr.; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-laws; and a host of cousins and friends.
