Gerline was the anchor at ASCS Office. She helped many high school and college students with summer employment with ASCS. My mother, Jane Goodwin, retired from the ASCS Office working with Gerline for 35 years. I will cherish the memories of Gerline and the office family parties, picnics, water skiing at the lake, and fishing in the Patton pond on their farm. Gerline Patton will be remembered as a Rutherford County public servant that helped many farmers from season to season with federal programs that aided and assisted the agriculture community. She loved her family, especially her nephews and neices. My thoughts and prayers are with her family as we all celebrate the life of Gerline Patton.

Haynes, CED for the Rutherford COC.
