Harold Alexander MOSES

MOSES, Harold Alexander Age 79 of Wichita Falls, TX, died on Friday, September 13, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Howard Chapman officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at 2 p.m., at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. A son of the late Bertha (Lee) and David A. Moses, Harold was born on November 15, 1933 in Joelton, TN. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as district manager for National Life & Accident Insurance for 34 years, prior to his retirement. He was a Life Underwriter. Harold was a member of First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls where he faithfully served as an usher and a greeter. He loved many things, including: cooking on his smoker, the Tennessee Volunteers, talking and visiting with people and his beloved dog, Sparky. Harold was also preceded in death by a half-sister, Clara; sister, Lillian; brothers, Earl, Charlie, Orman and Robert. He is survived by his wife, Minnie Moses of Wichita Falls; son, Harold W. Moses and Christine Rice of Rowlett, TX; daughter, Sheryl Ann Moses Hickerson and husband Larry of Archer City; grandchildren, Christopher Moses of Stillwater, OK, Derrik and Annie Hickerson of Archer City, Brett and Shonda Hoff of Windthorst, Amanda and Desmond Connally, and Amy Holley, all of Wichita Falls; nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the funeral home.
