BEASLEY, James Cox Age 81. Passed away suddenly after a long illness on January 26, 2011. Preceded in death by his wife, Adeline Horton Beasley; parents, Mary Cox Beasley and Elsworth Stanford Beasley. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Beasley McCulloch (Dale) and Margaret Beasley Dougharty (Travis); grandchildren, Alice McCulloch Wall (Andrew), Jimmy McCulloch and Daniel Dougharty (Alaina); seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by brother, Dr. Al Beasley (Sandy) of Knoxville; sisters, Ella Beesley of Nashville and Becky Bruder of Palm Beach, Florida; five nieces; one nephew; and countless friends. Mr. Beasley was born in Huntingdon, Tennessee, later moved to Chapel Hill, Tennessee, and then to Donelson. Jim was a graduate of Vanderbilt University, a member of Donelson Heights United Methodist Church, retired Engineer from the Department of Transportation for the State of Tennessee after 34 years of service, worked for 10 years for Jones Brothers Construction, and a member of Ravenwood Country Club. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home on Donelson Pike. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the family grave site at Henry Horton State Park with Dr. Kay Gray officiating. Pallbearers are John Burke, Lewis Evans, Carl Wood, George Allen, Howard Wilson, Bill Wallace, Wyma Casteel, J.R. Perry, Tom Cate and Frank Zoccola. Honorary Pallbearers are the OBA's and RMGA's at Ravenwood, the Friendship Class at Donelson Heights United Methodist Church, Roy (Monk) Anderson, Clyde Hannah and Maurice Bateman.
