James Stewart "Jim" LIVELY Jr.

LIVELY, JR., James Stewart "Jim"Age 88 of Nashville. July 28, 1924 - February 23, 2013. Preceded in death by his wife, Milbrey "Sis" Wade Lively; parents, James S. and Martha Lou Tucker Lively, Sr.; sister, Mollie "Tucky" Lunn. Mr. Lively was a retired National Sales Exec in the Auto Manufacturing Industry, a World War II Veteran, a member of American Legion Post #5, Rotarian, Scottish Rites Mason, Shriners and Member of First Presbyterian Church. Jim's passions were volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, The Boys Scouts of America, and the American Camellia Society, Mid TN Chapter, but his greatest passion was for the Boy Scouts, where he received many awards and commendations. The greatest of all he was an influence in the lives of many young men. Survived by his son, James S. "Jim" Lively III and wife Linda; daughters, Patricia Lively and Cynthia Watts; grandchildren, Christopher J. Lively, Nathan S. Lively, Fredrick Watts and Michele Watts. Visitation will be at the Cheek House at First Presbyterian Church, 4815 Franklin Road, Nashville on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. til 12:30 p.m. with funeral services to follow with Rev. James R. Fuller and Rev. Sandra Randleman officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Boy Scouts of America or Habitat for Humanity.
